Jackie is my name and my hobby of refinishing furniture has lead me to blog about my experiences. I also run my Etsy shop, Red Revival. Pinterest, HGTV and DIY channels brainwashed me into taking on my own projects. My first project was a thrifted French Provincial dresser I snagged for 10 bucks. I finished it, was proud of it and sold it! So I thought, maybe this is something I have a knack for. 

I'm always on the lookout for unique furniture pieces that need a little reloving. I live in the Chicagoland area and I am surrounded by thrift stores, garage sales, & flea markets. It works out great for me because thats where I find most of my furniture. I also come across items on craigslist and even the garbage. You wouldn't believe the things people throw out! Red Revival is the perfect name for my shop because Red symbolizes love and passion, and I instill that in all my revived items.
